Default 1996 ford f150 abs light

I have a 1996 Ford 4x2 f150 5.0l. Love this truck but my truck came without a tachometer. So I went to a local junk yard and picked up a new instrument cluster with a tachometer. The new cluster camera from a 1995 Ford 150. After installing the new instrument cluster my abs light is one. Why?!?

95-96 gauge clusters should interchange without issue. However, depending on the month of manufacture in '95, it could be a '94 and therefor not interchangeable. Also possible, that the previous owner also had swapped gauge clusters with one out of a pre -'95. You may have to live with it or get the pin out and make some changes to your new to you cluster.

With the 96 models you have to get another cluster from a 96 they're not interchangeable liken some of the older ones. Go pull another out of a 96 model and swap it out and it should clear up.
