Default solid rubber motor mount or regular?

i got a 4.9l 93 f150 5spd 4x4. ive had problems in the past with my trans mound breaking and i think its because my drivers side motor mount is broken. i went to the auto parts store and looked they have a regualr and solid rubber motor mount. which one would be better the solid rubber or the reg?

You could also try an Energy Suspension verathane mount, they are not too expensive, they might even have motor mounts. Much stronger than stock. They are engineered for high torque.

well i bought the solid rubber mount already. its just that they keep on breaking on me. and when i tow i dont want it to break. so ill try this and then if this breaks(which would be when hell freezes over) i will try the other one you are talking about if they have it.

advaceautoparts i got them from. i took the drivers off and i thought i would check the pass. side. and the bolt part of the mount was spinning so i go both of them replaced under warenty from car quest and i just put the solid rubber one on the drivers side cause i beat the hell out of the truck and i dont want it to move. and im going to do some serious mudding this weekend. so yeah i do have an extra mount left for a spare just in case.
