Default 1995 Automatic Hubs To Manual Hubs??????

I have a 1995 F-150 Eddie Bauer Edition supercab pickup with automatic 4x4 hubs. I would like to convert this over to manual 4x4 hubs. How would I do this??? I have read some things stating I will need to get a conversion kit for my transfer case and the manual hub conversion kit. Can someone tell me what all I need to buy to do this conversion. Thanks.

ahh.... possibly one of the best steps in the 4x4 world IMO. its worth getting out and locking the hub. although i have never personally done this swap (always been done before i got the vehicle), from what i understand, yes, youll need a conversion kit. although i dont see where the transfer case would need a conversion kit. lol.

I think the transfer case conversion kits are for converting full time 4WD to part time.

manual hubs FTW.

and they made it different because different people like different stuff. like, they make different engine sizes, tire sizes, etc etc.

I don't know all abbreviations, what is FTW? I've seen this used several times before. The only definition I know for this doesn't fit.

It`s no big deal, I have 94 f-150 came with auto hubs and lever on floor. I went to the local junck yard and pulled a set of locking hubs off, make sure you get all the snap rings for spares [never hurts}. there might be an extra washer (spacer) on your auto hubs that needs to come out before your new hubs will fit. I took my auto hubs off and counted the splines before I went, but I think all F-150 with the ttb front end are the same. It`s not hard but it is greasy(I repacked the wheel bearings) Good luck
