1995 5.0 auto keeps shutting off
I have replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, and idle air control. My mechanic ran a diagnostic and he said nothing was coming up that would cause it to die. He did mention a code involving the O2 sensor I think. It is hard to start after it dies. At first it would start right back up, now I have to gas it a lot and keep it reved up for 10 seconds or so before I can even try to get it in gear and rolling again. It shakes quite a bit while I am doing this - it runs very poorly. Sometimes it happens a block away from when I first start it; sometimes it runs for miles without a problem. It never dies on the highway. I THINK IT ONLY SHUTS DOWN WHEN GOING SLOWLY OR COMING TO A STOP. It seems to me that the problem is getting worse, so does that mean it's electrical? Please help!

You might have a bad pick up coil inside the distributer, the wires brake at the pick up coil and sometimes they make contact and sometimes they dont,if you have replaced all the tune up parts and module etc. and have no engine codes the only other possibility could be fuel pressure but doesent seem likely.
