remove drive shaft ( front also if 4x4), (remove skid plate then transfer case if 4x4), disconect clutch hydrolic line going in to the tranny using the ford cluth disconect tool (the only place I could find it is auto zone), take the shifter **** off, un screw the shifter boot( 4 screws hiden under the ruber boot on each corner of the plastic trim). to get the shifter off you got to take the nut off the bottom of the shifter, put the nut on the other side and retighten, the bolt will slowly pull out. then you remove your crossmember and tranny mount, unbolt the starter, and unbolt the tranny from engine. if you can not slide the tranny off, reconect the hydrolic line and push the clutch peddle down a few times, the tranny will slowly back off. once the tranny is off the slave is held on with only two bolts, unbolt slide slave off.
