Default 1993 f150 need help

I parked my 93 f150 in my driveway and turned it off and I heard a clunk/clank noise. The next day I fired it up to check if it was all right and it made the same noise and then a part fell out. I need help identifying this part and figuring out where it goes.

this is the part that fell out

That does not look like a part that belongs on your truck. Personally I'll be pretty interested if someone identifies it. (looks more like it belongs on a barbecue). If it does belong somewhere, you'd think it would be fairly important - just never seen one in all the trucks I've played with

I figured out where it came from, it was a piece that covered the outside of the pulley that is on the ac pump, The radiator fan had hit the piece holding it on and sheared it off, causing it to just fall off. Thanks anyway!

I've replaced that part on my old a/c pump, and now I have a new one. Pump that is.

That's the clutch cover, you can replace the entire clutch assembly on the a/c. It's a lot more work to do the compressor but like stated will only last as long as your current compressor holds out. If it's original it's probably in it's final years.

If your a/c didn't work you don't need it. If it worked good change the clutch so you don't have to empty the system of refrigerant.

Yah I think it is original and I might just replace that part of the a/c pump and not the whole thing.

Im pretty sure all I need to do is replace the clutch cover because the a/c has been working amazing and I live in AZ so that is a big plus.
