Default Ready for Paint!

well after several months of priming, sanding and filling she is Flat, Straight and Ready for Paint!! The body shop booth will have a spot ready for me in 2 weeks. Exciting stuff!!

Can't wait to see it man! Are you going to put the chrome strips back on the fender wells? And put the 4x4 decals on all after getting it painted?

Thank you! Not going to put the wheel well trim on nor is it getting the 4x4 decals. No decals, all paint effects. Going down the custom paint avenue. Gloss black with mat black accents.

Shes is finally at the paint shop. Just received her first coat of base on the bed. Clear coat to soon follow...progress!!

Love this thread, truck is looking amazing so far and it's cool that someone on here is doing some stuff I had in mind for my 91 also, hopefully this will be the year I get to some of my plans. lol.. you said you wanted to get your hands on a lightning steering wheel? if you have no luck finding one you could always look into Grant Steering wheels or even a Momo wheel, they can get pricy but they are great quality, can't wait to see how it turns out, goodluck man!

check out some of the powerstroke forums, these rebuilds are super common lol, iv probably seen 30 of them restored in the last 4 years.
