At least the front fenders will be an easy fix.

You guys were talking about rear leaf's earlier. The "flat" bottom spring is an overload spring, that is factory. My 4X4 has 3 leaf's and the flat helper spring on the bottom (4 all together). The guy that posted a pic a page or two back has a factory add-a-leaf. I went with new leveling springs and moog adjustable camber bushings. Had to take an air hammer to get the factory bushings out on my truck. Dont use a torch or heat as you can melt the boot on the upper ball joint. Or take it to an alignment shop and they can do it all for you and alignment.

Yeah..the color you either love or hate it seems. I got more people coming up to me everywhere I went the first few years I had this truck...when it was new. Don't see very many that color, I always loved it, everyone always knew who it was when they saw my truck. I appreciate the comment, I really do. Makes me feel like the plans and work I have planned..to bring her back to all her glory will be that much more worth it. Sure may have some rust now...but she still has a strong heart and more attitude than any new truck. Don't get me wrong, new trucks are nice...I may buy one soon...I dunno... Right now I am into fixing my 94 up...there is just something about that truck...I just love it. And you can't get a manual in a new truck LOL. Maybe I'm crazy, but that's what In doing. :-)

yea, i know mine is pretty rare too, just easier to mod a vehicle thats black/grey lol.

trust me, there are people on here with alot worse looking trucks and they either have already restored them or are in the process now. thankfully where i live i dont have to worry about rust.

The most recent one I've seen is combatusa I believe his name is. He did an excellent job with his. Most people on here are more concerned with modding and routine maintenance than restoring though. Rusty trucks have that, "yeah.. I've been there " look to em, they have character more so than me an cam's virgin trucks lol

i have to agree with you on that one lol. i just hate to see people that rip up there truck for no reason. not saying either of you do, im just saying lol. i dont like the rust look, but i know alot of the time it cant be helped, so i dont see it as a bad thing, just another one of those things that goes into the routine maintenance file lol.

Rust and mud mix well. If you have a rusty truck even if it's hideous. Drive it through a mud hole and cover it all up. Natures bondo
