i plan on putting F250 coil springs on mine soon too. my wheels already lean out on the bottom a little bit so i need an alignment anyway, will this get way worse when i put the 250 springs on it?

I installed f250 coil springs on my truck last month. It is an 89 regular cab, long bed, 2wd. I ordered 89 f250 springs for it. I also installed air shocks in the rear at the same time. I should have measured everything before, but it doesn't sit level. Are you supposed to use 92-96 springs or do you think my shocks sit the rear up higher? No one has clarified if you need to use ninth generation shocks.

Are these f250 springs? or Heavy duty F150 springs?

and the link to the springs jeff posted, are they roughly the same as f250 springs? im either looking towards getting the 2" spacer or the springs. id like to get springs becuase it seems like more of a right way to do it, but as some said, springs compress so in the end you might not get a full 2" level.
With a 2 inch kit, be it springs or spacers, you can get the alginment back into spec perfect with adjustable camber bushings, just have to get the right ones.

I had a perfect alignment, and then used a 2.5 inch spacer (no longer made) and had 3 degrees of positive camber on the front.

Could you post a link to some bushings that will work?

Go to napa, advance, auto zone, and search camber bushings. Just make sure to filter the results for your truck.

How far out your camber is will decide which bushings you need. Take the truck to get aligned, and they should tell you they want to put a # degree bushings in it, and say theey want way too much money. Go home and put in the bushings they said, then take it back.

I suggest Tire Kingdom for alignments, they'll do it for 100 bucks and you can go back as much as you want for 6 months or 6,000 miles

Maybe this is a stupid question...but why do you need an alignment just for changing springs?

If I want to do the F250 coil springs... do I look up the part # for 7.3L, 5.8L or 5.0L? Would the part # be a CC822, CC824 or CC844
