1991 ford f-150 Custom 4.9L L6 manual
So I bought a truck for my first vehicle for $500. It is in bad shape but no structural rust, just needs paint and a few dings out of it as well as a new fuel system ( has 2 tanks that are fine) and I would like to re-do the electrical work completely as well as replace all the rotted plastic (it sat in a field for 6 years).
I have been looking and I cant find a user manual anywhere online (free pdf) or any paper copies except "Ford F-150 Haynes Repair Manual" those guides more or less shotgun information about a bunch of different makes and models. Dose anyone know where I could get my hands on a factory manual?
Called Ford and Mercury United States
(18003923673) they do not have the manual, was transferred to another sector, ended in dial tone, desk number another representative gave me (18005443312) rings for ~18 minutes then ends in dial tone.
So no manual from Fords side and I am out of ideas. I am willing to play for an actual Ford manual but not one of the "general overview of 50 trucks" manuals.

The Haynes or Chilton Manuals are usually pretty good about having the different wiring diagrams. Might be worth it to get one. You can also look on Amazon and CL for the older manuals and repair guides. They seem to have better information than a general book. If the wiring is done for, I'd start looking at scrap/salvage yards for a truck with the same stuff. It might be harder to find, but you can usually find some decent stuff.
Chris1 will probably chime in here in a little bit. He seems to find the gems for this body style. Lol.

Ill post pictures as I am working on the truck and restoring it, it is in really bad cosmetic shape, thought for paint I am probably just going to can it, is there anything that could really go wrong with that? I do not care much for "shiny" paint jobs.
