1991 F150 Ignition problem fixed
Merry Christmas everyone!
I posted some time ago about my Daughter's 91 F150 only sparking once. I tried and tried to get it figured out, and tried all the suggestions here. Thanks a bunch for all the advice.
I finally gave up and put it in the shop. They worked on it, and finally traced the problem to a short in the wiring harness on the driver's side of the engine compartment. A diode on the harness had broken, and was causing the intermittent problems. The repair bill was extremely reasonable.
