Default E4od trans fluid leak

Hey guys, my trans has been dripping fluid from the rubber cork on the bottom of the torque converter bulge.. Any ideas why this is? I'm pretty unfamiliar with what goes on in that space, so any help is appreciated

94 4.9 e4od 175000 miles, fluid change 16k ago, dry around the gasket.

That "rubber cork" (if I'm thinking of the right thing) just plugs a hole you use to get to the plug you need to remove to drain the torque converter. You might want to take it off and have a peek inside to see where the oil is coming from.

Could be the pump seal or the torque converter hub seal.
