After buying enough winch bumpers and guards over the years to set up shop for myself I finally figured I'm just going to build one the way I want it. I'll figure out the design later but I have a rough idea in my head.

Just dropped the truck off at the transmission shop. They're going to look it over tomorrow and give me a call. The window wouldn't go back up when I got there so they were nice enough to pull it inside for the night.

The bumper will end up looking something like this. Can't work on it yet though I need the truck for reference and out of all the pipe here it's all either 4" or 6" nothing 5". So I'll need to find some of that also.

I swear if I have transmission problems after this I'm throwing a standard in her. At least that I can do myself.

Bought my truck in 2004. Taught my kids to drive in this truck...not too good, because my daughter rolled it in 2008. Have spent alot of time and money getting it back together...only to be shot down by the FORD MOTOR COMPANY. There is a huge issue with the Fuel Tank Selector Valve...and the part is no longer produced and cannot be found. So close, yet so far!

Truck looks great but this is a thread for my truck not to show off others.
This it?

I'm genuinely curious to know if that will fix your problems. I took my truck by the transmission shop today. They checked it out and gave me the ok to drive it normally again so I'm happy. I'll be taking it back next week for the rear end to be looked at and fixed up. Past that knock on wood I should be alright for awhile. Pulled my codes I have a couple parts to replace and 4x91's thread gave me the idea to put a stock spare tire holder on the truck now that I know it works with a rear gas tank so I'll be getting to that in time also.

So this is the clunk I hear going from drive to reverse. Sounds horrible and I have no hope for it to be a simple fix I wouldn't be surprised if the axle was toast but I'll find out soon anyway.

Sounds and Looks to me that it could be a transmission related issue with it going into reverse but I am not a mechanic or anything. Just my hunch. Most people on here would know more than me. Goodluck in diognosing your issue!!!
