1993 F150 bumper swap
Hello everyone,
I was wondering what F150/250 bumpers are compatible with my 1993 F150 XLT? My front bumper is currently the solid chromed factory bumper. I would like to install one of the bumpers with the cooling holes in it (factory diesel bumper?). The reason behind this is to add a set of fog lights without changing how the truck looks too drastically. I really don't want a Lightning bumper, but I found these brackets that allow you to fit a set of LED cubes into the vented bumper: https://cpaddict.com/complete-perfor...brackets-cplb/ This would accomplish what I want. I definitely don't want to go the route of mounting a light bar to the top of the bumper, or behind the Grille.
It looks like the bumper might be the F250 7.3 turbo bumper? I just need to know of that bumper has the same mounting points as the F150 XLT bumper does, and if its a direct swap.
Thanks!

If you are specifically looking for the bumper with the holes in it, they were found in 94.5-97 F series with powerstroke 7.3's. Some of the later model eddie bauer F150's had them too.
And yes direct swap - I have one on my '94 F150.

You might try making your own brackets for the lights. Here's how I did mine and they turned out pretty good. https://www.f150forum.com/f10/what-d...1/#post5057308
