Obd codes say its running rich and lean
My 95 5.8 Eddie Bauer is running codes for o2 sensor running rich and also running the code for o2 running rich. Where should I start?

Welcome to the site!
What were the specific code numbers?
When were the O2 sensors last replaced, if ever?
Has there been any Seafoam, Berrymans, or other type of injector cleaner used recently?
When was the last engine tune-up - plugs, wires, etc. - done?
Any other codes being thrown?

Thank you! The specific code # were 172, 173. I ran a can of seafoam through it 1500 miles ago then did a tune up. The wierd thing about it is that when i'm halfway to work it'll kick the check engine light on. It doesn't stay on all the time which makes me wonder. I'm sure the o2 sensor is probably due to be replaced but i'm not sure how long ago it was replaced

You might want to check out the EGR valve and vacum supply going to it. If its not working properly that will also cause the O2 sensor to go nuts because its not recirculating the spent exhaust gases

First make sure to clear codes then run the engine till you see the problem again, then recheck. Also pay attention to all circumstances at the time. Temp, time , smell, sound etc. The egr is a good possibility as is the o2. The o2 warms up to begin working. It could give one error cold and one warm. Also look for vacuum leaks.
